Famous for one-of-a-kind treasures, the market includes artisan crafts, flea market antiques, bygones, collectibles, world imports, garage sale goodies as well as entrepreneurial products. The Asian import category is full and will require case by case membership eligibility. All services, (including healing arts and massage) are limited as well. Inquire via email first please. The Market is open to everyone else. Pre-registration is not required. We have no weekday office. There are no special advance applications. Everything can be done on the day you arrive. It's as easy as showing up between 6 am and 8:30 on the Sunday morning of your choice. Spaces, however, are very limited on good weather days during the spring, summer and holidays, so there is no guarantee of space availability unless your space is prepaid as a member.

SIGN-IN FOR MEMBERS AND NON-MEMBERS:
Make your way to the parking garage of the Red Door Alehouse at the corner of N 34th and Evanston. Sign-up on the official list. Booths are first-come-first-serve for members until 8:30. Non-Member spaces are distributed between 8:30 & 9:30. Members and new member applicants are processed the office opens at 7 am. Non-members sign-in on the list and report back the desk at 8:30 am. You are free wander or go for breakfast until those then. All parked vendor cars must be off the market street or you may be ticketed and towed. Once you have a space and are unloaded you must be off the street by 9:45 am. All vendors must stay to closing. NO EARLY breakdown, unless you have special permission. Otherwise vending privileges are forfeit.

COSTS:
The set up fee for vending in 10' x 10' space is just $40 daily. Smaller "Table top" spaces (8'x 5' w/ table & chair) are $30 but these are limited in number. Payment for Non-Members is cash ONLY please.   

VENDING SPACES:
Outdoors:10' by 10'. Mutliple spaces are unlikely, inquire first if its important. Table-top spaces are sited only in certain areas. Tables and chairs are available for rent for $5, c hairs $2, or you can bring your own. Electrical power (250 watt limit) is available in the parking garage only.

LICENSES:
A Seattle City business license and a WA state tax number are required for membership, but not necessarily on your first visit. Non-members can vend on the day.

FOOD VENDING:
Prepared Food vending is open for application quarterly during the first week of January, April, July & October. Food applications are on a case-by-case basis according to menu or specialty, We take no more than 8 food vendors. Menus may not duplicate existing vendor menus. Health Dept. review and $199 season permit required. We take food booth applications in person only, please contact us via e-mail for an appointment.

UNLOADING & PARKING:
There is FREE "come and go" vendor parking on site. Enter at Phinney and N 34th. Follow signs and staff traffic monitors to the office outside parking lot. When vending space is assigned you may drive to your booth to immediately unload, then park, then return to set up. Any car on the street has ten minutes max. to off-load. All cars must be off the market street by 10 am. Under NO circumstances is vendor or customer loading or parking to occur in the Gym parking lot next door. MEMBERSHIP:

Members enjoy first pick of spaces ahead of non-members at daily markets. Members also enjoy the ability to reserve or hold on to spaces. Market membership is valid for all markets. Click here for complete information and license links.

Customer Parking
Free parking is available throughout Fremont as well as many nearby pay lots and street stalls. No parking or loading in the gym parking lot next to the market.

Drive-in Pick up
The west end at Phinney and N. 34th allows you to drive into the Burke Lot parallel to the Market for ease of loading. Ask monitor at the gate.

Mission
The Fremont Market is an ongoing experiment whose goal is to provide people access to the public and help them succeed. We favor people's intelligence, and mutual consideration, over excessive rules. The market is constantly evolving and changing so we invite your input and patience.

Restrictions
Franchises or their DBA's,MLM's, financial services of any kind, bargain retail or brand style merchandising are ineligible to vend. Any food products are disallowed unless specifically approved by management in compliance with health codes.

Buskers & leafleteers must report to the desk for instructions. No unauthorized roaming vending. Weapons & firearms are disallowed. Knife products must be approved by manager. Malodorous, dirty or dangerous items, pornographic or racist materials are disallowed. Pets or animals of any kind may not be sold here or given away. DOGS & other pets may not attend with a vendor for liability reasons.

We reserve the right to deny service to anyone or to suspend members who violate the terms of conduct in the membership contract.
