VENDING:
Wallingford is a seasonal market from June 7 to Sept 27, open to the public from 3 to 7 pm. Lot opens to the market at 1 pm and vendors need to arrive between 1 and 1:30pm.
Vending opportunities are open to direct producers of fresh farm produce and makers of original crafts only. (Flea market , collectibles, and import vendors are only being accepted at our sister Fremont Market at this time). Display spaces are 10' by 10' in size, vendors provide their own pop-up tents and tables. The set up fee is a flat $40 for all craft vendors. Farmers and processors' fees are based on sales; the fee schedule will be supplied with application packet.
PRODUCE PROCESSED FOOD POLICY:
Only fresh fruits and vegetables and wildcraftings such as honeys, jams, salsas etc. that have been made by or gathered by the exhibitor are allowed. This is strictly enforced. Contact Market Master Judy first to apply. Processed food items, such as breads, candy or sauces, must be manufactured locally according to all health department regulations.
CRAFTS POLICY:
Only crafts and products made by or designed by the exhibitor are allowed. Those items manufactured elsewhere must have the exibitor's name or copyright imprinted on them as proof of design. The market master will screen goods for compliance on the day of arrival. For any craft booth and eligibility questions please visit us in person the week prior to your vending date with samples. NOTE: This is primarily a Farmers market, so crafts booths WILL be subject to being moved as the summer season progresses to make way for more farmers. The policy is LAST IN-FIRST OUT. Vendors who are newest arrivals will be the first to be replaced regardless of membership. Opportunities may exist in other markets.
CRAFT VENDING:
Sellers of original crafts CANNOT show up on the day of the event and apply for a space without prior screening. Contact Market Master Judy first to apply by submitting an e-mail with a brief description of your presentation, and products, start date, and contact information. Sign up time is 1pm sharp.
